It's year's since we have eaten here,and a friend recommended to try again.We booked Sunday lunch on Easter Sunday and went for dinner.The interiors have changed but to me it's the same old design I love.The only reason I did not give the food a five,is the amount of meat on our plate could have been more.We ordered the beef and felt could have been more.Apart from this it was lovely. Especially the roast potatoes and homemade Yorkshire puddings.It will not put us off returning.
I don’t often leave reviews but this place deserves one ,great menu and the steak and ale pie was amazing along with the Haddock ,the staff where polite and chatty also the Princess as a great atmosphere,we had a great meal thank you ,we will be calling back ,
Excellent Christmas menu. This was truly amazing. Having attending many Christmas meals over many (ahem) years and so many disappointing ones. The princess truly excelled and provided a beautiful turkey dinner. I think it was definitely the best I’ve ever had. Lots of turkey including a Yorkshire pudding and so many vegetables. Red cabbage and carrot mash were my favourites. And the cabbage and cauliflower and broccoli. My work colleagues all thoroughly enjoyed their choices...read full review
