My partner and I visit Sweet Basil regularly. We never book and they always find a table for us straight away even when it is stacked out. The staff are fantastic, so lovely and friendly. They almost feel like friends at this point because we see them every two weeks because we love the restaurant so much. Nothing is a bother and the serve is brilliant. The food is lovely. Got to be up there as one of the best in Leeds. If not the best! Yes it’s a little pricey but you’re paying for the service and the top notch food. Couldn’t fault any dish. Fillet steak in garlic and chilli was unreal.

We visited on New Years Eve- 4 generations of us! We absolutely loved it, my Grandma is still talking about it today! Food was quick, but quite clearly fresh and the portions are excellent, had we known, we may have shared! The service was also excellent with staff checking in and making sure we had everything and had drinks etc. Will definitely be returning , what a lovely way to spend New Year’s Eve!
