We were staying nearby for a few days and were lucky to find this gem practically on the doorstep. A great selection of ales, well kept, and served by very friendly staff. The regulars here were very welcoming as well.

Good pint of Tim Taylor's available here - and a nice view from the beer garden whilst drinking it. Real out of the way place and grea to come across it when needing some refreshment. Good for walkers exploring the valley.

So happy to find this little beauty. On a 5 mile walk and finished here after a little steam train trip. Mick the owner is top class. We shall see you all again. Beautiful food and the staff are on point. Legends x
