Service good, food below average, steak pie tough and not very hot, chips good, baked beans tasteless.. coffee good.Top notch home made steak pie in a couple of in town cafes so much better and cheaper.That's my last visit.
After an overnight stay in Pontefract we popped in for breakfast. This is part of the supermarket, right at the entrance. The tables are divided by screens due to social distancing. You can still pick your own bits and make own coffee though. Had English breakfast and poached eggs on toast, coffee and apple juice. Cheap and cheerful, can definitely recommend.

The only reason for giving it a four was I could t see teaspoons over than that cheerful cafe clean goo do choice of cakes and yummy looking I had Victorian sponge muffin cheaper than other cafes but otherwise brillant
