I arrived in Amesbury last night, I really needed to eat something but everything was closed... At 10pm ?So I really need to have a huge breakfast. I came across the Friar Tuck cafe and ordered the "biggest ever" - 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 2 eggs, 4 hash browns, mushroom, beans, tomatoes, black pudding, toast and fried bread.This gigantic meal was devoured in 15 minutes. Haven't been here for years, so had to try the breakfasts... & wow, the fry up was great, lovely sausages, hash browns,perfect fried eggs and even some fried bread.....Nice.

Food ok cost ok, I went quite earlly so only 3 costumers in there, maybe play some low music to create a better atmosphere. I also think if you are buying a set breakfast, you should provide free tea/coffee with the meal and not charge as an extra. But I will visit again. All in all not the best in the Amesbury area.
