Smaller than many Wetherspoon pubs..plenty of room outside. Can get very busy at popular times.Being in Amesbury it's more of a local than tourist. The Army bases are near so can get a bit rowdy when the lads are enjoying themselves.One problem i find is the shouting talk, some dont realise the volume of their speech and therefore can, sometimes, be a bit over the top.If one starts loud, others follow which can be offputting to other less emotional in conversation.But generally...read full review

It's a Spoons... but a good one! If you've never tried one, it's a good example of what to expect. Can't complain at choice or cost really. Never high-class but always

This is a typical Wetherspoons, you know what you'll get. Very good value for money. It was unusually busy for mid week and would have benefited from more staff but I suspect it's very hard to predict how busy places might be. Service was quite good anyway.
