I was told about this place by a neighbour when I first moved into a village down the road. The first time I went I missed lunch as I walked and got lost. I hadn't realised they stopped serving lunch after a certain time.When I decided one Sunday to make sure I got to have lunch there I was not disappointed. One of our regular pubs. Sat in the garden and had a lovely light lunch. Food and service were super as usual. Great village pub with varied menu and good range of beers and wines.

Party of 4 - we all said that was the best Xmas menu meal we have ever had and we’ve had some good ones. Service was impeccable, attentive and friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced but the food was the star of the show. Very very good.
