This is my local, although I don't do any take-outs often. I always have fish and chips, sometimes mushy pes, sometimes just fish without batter, (ordered at least 15 minutes before.) The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. If having chips I always have to say 'not so many, please!' sometimes I say 'can you give them another minute, please?' Very generous. We hadn't ordered from Dolphin's for a month or so, and not realised the place had changed hands until I collected our food. The chicken Kebabs were always the best from there, but different this time .... not in a bad way, just smaller pieces and more seasoned. It wasn't dry like some places n actually very nice indeed....plus a small one was so huge! I had the leftovers with a salad the following day and thoroughly enjoyed it The kids loved their cheesy chips an sausages.........read full review
Without a shadow of a doubt - the best fish and chips I have ever had! Even beating one's scoffed on Weymouth sea front, and blows away anything we had in Chippenham. Highly recommended
