What a fabulous experience my husband and I had at this beautiful place. We both had the 7 course tasting menu - I had the vegetarian one and requested not to have mushrooms and they couldn't have been more accommodating. Recently updated restaurant is excellent and food is worthy of its Michelin star rating. We stayed the night and had a great experience. Staff great and venue is situated in lovely village.

We dined here for a 30th Birthday Celebration and left very full and satisfied! I give the food a 4/5 as I didn’t really enjoy the seaweed custard as it didn’t taste of anything, just like a plain cold custard. This was the only disappointing dish on the menu and I appreciate the skill of the dish, even though the flavour was lacking. The best dish for us was the dessert as it was unbelievable and ticked every box! We also loved the Cod, full of flavour!
