This cafe is usually a lovely spot to pick up a takeaway coffee while you wait for the train!What you lose in friendly staff, you make up for in the quality of the coffee.I’ve given 3 stars because the last time I visited this cafe, I asked for a flat white and was given a lukewarm americano (saw them stick milk in a pot and give it a second of blast in the steamer, then proceeded to pour cold mink into my cup - definitely not a flat white).

This was a lovely surprise yesterday. I didn't expect to find a station café with locally sourced free range food and such friendly staff. I ate scrambled egg with mushrooms on toast for breakfast and it was made to order and superb. (Remember it is all freshly made so allow plenty of time to get served and eat before you need to catch your train.)
