I thought this was a quaint shop and like to buy locally. However I was overcharged for 3 packets of biscuits and a loaf. £24 I'd paid for a calendar seperately but think I was charged again. Very expensive
A dog friendly shop/cafe!I had just finished a 2 hour hike in the area and desperately need something to eat and drink.The sign outside the shop said dogs were welcome and I was so thankful!There are only 3 tables inside, which were all taken, but there was a small bench and dog water bowl just outside the entrance.I ordered a warm Cornish pasty which was delicious!The loaves looked amazing, but I didn't buy any this time.There's also a range of ice creams to buy... Dropped in for some takeaway cakes and coffees. Friendly staff and the best Almond Bakewell….definitely recommended:-) We had a flapjack which I was informed was equally as tasty. We also treated ourselves to a slice of shortbread for the walk back - equally as lovely!
