The Plough on the Hill

Came across this little gem by chance.. We were looking for somewhere to stop for your lunch whilst on holiday with our dogs and went to the Sun Inn in a small village it didn't acc we ot did so we searched in Google for the next nearest pub. This came up on the search engineWe were very happy as did were welcomed as we're we. The man who was behind the bar was friendly, we ordered a drinks and a vegetarian meal from the bar and took our seats in the window.The pub was beautifully decorated and seating was superb. Toilets outstanding and it was a pleasure to be there. Food was on time and superb, this is exactly what you want after a couple of very wet days in the Lake District . Fabulous service and had a great chat with the gentleman.I didn't tell him at the time that he really did remind me of Andy from Erasure but he is probably too young to know who I mean ..We will definitely be back when we come up to Hymerchill at Park Foot Farm Campsite at Pooley Bridge next year..
