Farm Ln, Great Bedwyn, MarlboroughWe live about 45 minutes away but when we're nearby we try to fit in a meal at Wendy's. The roast dinner last Sunday was amazing. We can't recommend it highly enough. No frills, just the tastiest food and plenty of it. Take your own alcoholic beverage!

The Swan
Grafton Rd, Wilton, MarlboroughThere is an art to getting a pub 'right' and this is one that really does. We go infrequently living some miles away but it is always a joy to go to. It strikes that fine balance of being cosy and not artifically polished like so many pubs feel the need to do. Beer in barrels on the back shelf and an excellent menu. It's a gem with lovely staff.

The White Hart
123 High St, Burbage, MarlboroughLovely hosts! We came to celebrate a birthday with a few drinks, game of pool and brilliant food. The chef made us a hot meze platter to share - even though they had run out of something that was meant to go on it, he went out of his way to make us a unique one with complementary bread. The food was amazing, would definitely recommend the sucuk (spicy Turkish sausage)

Chopper's Cafe
Burbage, MarlboroughWe had two lovely sausage and egg sandwiches with hot chocolate plus a sausage for our dog. Really good. The lady was very good with my elderly husband who was a little confused with the toilets. If we ever go past again we will pay another visit. Many lorry drivers and bikers use this cafe.

The Palm Indian Restaurant
A4 Bath Road, Froxfield, MarlboroughThe Palm is my favourite restaurant. I went there on Sunday evening with someone who had never been there before, and they were very impressed. The service was excellent, the food was delicious, the spacious restaurant has a great atmosphere, it is spotlessly clean, and there is plenty of parking. My special thanks to Aileen John and Ankit for always making my visits so enjoyable.Kid-friendliness: My grandsons are always made very welcome here.
