Good value for money and had a good weekend stay there. Food is excellent. Worth the £12 extra for breakfast - recommend eggs royale. Dinner also excellent - they are busy so book. Recommend the sea bass on scallops and king prawn and pea n mint risotto.I have never seen such a hard working young waitress - she should have a bonus!
Didn't stay, just enjoyed the food.Food & drinks: Excellent quality food served by friendly staff. All three courses were terrific and great value. Good drinks too. A very pleasant evening.

They hosted a family event for us and were very accommodating. One particular staff member (manager / restaurant manager) worked really hard to make our experience more pleasurable. Hats off to her as she was like a one-lady-show ?. Quirky old fashioned hotel with very comfortable rooms. Good food.
