Ticks every box of what makes the perfect country pub!Can’t believe that after umpteen visits from London over the last twenty five years to visit my cousin, that I had not visited this lovely dog friendly pub before.Popped in three times, superb huge garden with stunning views of the Wiltshire Downs. Amazing to find a real pub still in existence. Spent a happy couple of hours there recently, enjoying the atmosphere, drinks and simple, delicious home-made scotch eggs and sausage roll. Comfortable and friendly. Will return.

Walking in from a walk in red hot sun it was great to be offered an air-conditioned dining area.The fish finger sandwich and chilled drinks really hit the mark as did the prompt, friendly service. Thank you. Thoroughly recommended.
