Had a good time at the Royal Oak in Pewsey. Great beers, but sadly I was driving. It was Saturday night so the menu was a choice of several pizzas or fish & chips. It does roasts on a Sunday. Our fish and chips were excellent. People who expect perfection would not like this place. I adored it. A real local. An historic local. Exceptionally friendly staff and lovely warm-hearted locals.The place has a good sized car park and nine pins skittles alley.
Stopped here on a sunday on a ride and had a great sunday roast.Nice that we didnt have to book.Girls behind the bar were really friendly and helpful...Great service and great little pub?

Called on the off chance that we could have a Sunday roast. Beef, chicken or vegetarian sausages with all the trimming on offer. I had the Roast beef. One word "Excellent".
