We stayed here for a weekend in March and were pleasantly surprised. It was a last minute deal through Travel Zoo and was such great value that we didn't expect too much. The Hotel is set in a beautiful rural location. We had an included cream tea on arrival in the lovely conservatory, followed by 2 nights with breakfast included. Good value hotel, basic accommodation but good sized bathroom and excellent breakfast and good service from the staff in the restaurant.Set in a manor house, there are many rustic features however it could do with some better maintenance. Good location for visiting the Cotswolds.
We enjoyed a wonderful 2 night break. Yasmine on reception was realky helpful. If you do boom a standard room do be aware that these are basically single rooms with a double bed in. We upgraded and it was worth it and still good value.The setting is great. Staff were welcoming even though they were busy.
