I've stayed here a few times and always enjoyed it.Car park.at the rear for hotel guests that needs to be validated.Impressive beer garden, courtyard, and conservatory.Rooms are very comfortable and include: complimentary tea, coffee, and chocolate.Bottled water and biscuits for an extra treat.I've stayed in over ten wetherspoon hotels and rate this about 5th.Well worth a look.Walkability: There's numerous bars and restaurants within 5 minutes walk and a very good chippie...read full review

Visited with my husband and grandaughter. We have been here many times. Only had hot drinks and a soft drink for the little girl. Log fire burning, nice friendly atmosphere . Always worth a visit. Beautiful , very grand ladies toilets. Formally a ball room. Excellent value for money, as are all Wethersoons. Well done.

Spoons. Great service, free WiFi, sometimes get lucky with a plug to charge phones etc.Handy location in town. Not too far from the river walk. So if you are out and about stop by and have a bite.The food we had was excellent, better then some other Spoons.Handy using the app but the bar was never too busy if you wanted to go the route.Definitely be back if I ever go that way again.
