Me and my partner came in last night. ( Monday 22nd) We didnât book because itâs January but was surprised at it actually being quite busy however a young gentleman kindly found us a table straight away and even gave us an option of which area we would like to be in. On December 9th we invited our children and grandchildren to our traditional âearly Christmasâ when all 25 of us can get together. We went to the Queenâs Head for a late lunch which was simply fantastic. The staff were superb and the meal plentiful and delicious. The 13 grandchildren aged 2-12 were seated on a long table against the wall and us adults on a parallel table. Visited on a Saturday night and between us we had the duck salad and a pizza and chips. Both arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The mustard sauce on the duck was so strong that we had to send it back. However it was replaced quickly without objection. Overall a good evening
