I enjoy going into The Chequers Pub now it's been taken over by Sharron and her team. She knows how to look after her beers and ales which is obvious when it comes to tasting them. The atmosphere is also very good and there is never any trouble in there anymore and I believe that comes from people having respect for Sharron and her staff.I enjoy my evening pint...!

I've have drank in this pub for over 40 years, beer has massively improved, bar staff are extremely nice and helpful.The standard of this pub and cleanliness has improved immensely. They let me stand in my spot without any complaints.Such a great atmosphere ?
