We stopped here as Google thought it would be somewhere we liked and it wasn’t wrong.They squeezed us in for Sunday lunch despite being full (we promised to eat quick!).We the staff were friendly and the Roasts we had were great for the price.The only downside is their carpark. There’s a huge dip on the way in that’s unavoidable. I’m very glad we finally tried The George & Dragon. We had the special of the day which was ribs, chips and coleslaw. Food was really delicious. Nice atmosphere with fireplace and cosy decor. Will be back sometime I’m sureParking: Only a couple of spaces free on a Wednesday evening
Always wanted to go here. My son has been on numerous occasions and is very impressed. Car parking is limited when busy. The pub is old fashioned with low ceilings and in the winter a real fire. We had a host who answered our questions, took our orders and who was very helpful. We were there on a Friday night and it was busy so best to reserve a table.
