We had a wonderfully delicious experience here last night. The ambience and service was excellent and the food was fantastic. We both had fish dishes and the fish was incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend, and will definitely go back.
Lovely inside, candles on the tables a very cosy local atmosphere it is popular with locals. "Dogs and Ducks Welcome", as long as they are well behaved - someone had a gorgeous pup in there, not a peep from them.Starters were lovely, went in as a group, whitebait and calamari was well portioned, so much so I felt two croquettes a little measly.Mains were very good with healthy portion sizes, the fish especially was quite large, although the peas weren't great. We were a party of 12 for lunch on Saturday March 16th. We didn't have to wait long for our food. It was hot, well cooked and unusually everyone was more than satisfied. The service came with a smile and we will be coming again. It really did make a nice change for our regular annual gatherings to have been so good. Thank you one and all for a great lunch. Oh and we'll done chef!
