Fantastic food. I've been there 3 times now and had the home made pies everytime. I can honestly say they are the best pies I've ever had. Short crust base with puff pastry top and when you cut into them the filling and gravey just ouses out which is so tastyVegetarian options: My son had the vegan pie which was just as good as my pie in fact it was hard to tell it was vegan
I've been quizzing and eating at the Isaac Newton for 15 years. The food is great home cooked style pub fayre and the Sunday roast is terrific. The quiz is free to enter and a good standard of questions. The atmosphere is friendly with a good mix of students and locals of all ages. Dick is a great host. I wish a lot more pubs in Cambridge were like this. Sorry it's taken me so long to write a well deserved review.

The staff here are absolutely amazing. Very kind and attentive - top class pub service.The atmosphere is very lively and jolly, although I did come at a busy time so perhaps that might have influenced my experience.
