We visited at lunchtime for a romantic birthday celebration and were sat at a lovely table looking out on to the river. We chose the prawn cocktail & crab cakes starters which were both delicious with lots of crab in the cakes. Then lobster, Mac & cheese and the New York Strip steak (on the bone) for mains. Asked for my steak medium and it came out medium well. It was still cooked very well and tasted good, but medium would have had more flavour. This is an incredible restaurant, we were looked after by Sibu and he was attentive, friendly and a great guy to talk to, we couldn’t have asked for more. The food was exquisite , the wine was delicious and the cocktails were a perfect finish to the evening. We are not from the area but would definitely visit this restaurant the next time we’re here.
