An excellent meal - the chef had taken quality ingredients, put them together in combinations that work and then cooked them perfectly. Smooth buttery mash was properly seasoned, a rich, generously filled game pie, an unctous smoked haddock, cheese and egg bake. Front of house were friendly and efficient. This is an amazing restaurant to go to for a meal. The food is absolutely amazing and there is a good selection on the menu. The staff are professional and friendly and the place is well looked after. I wouldn’t mind coming back here again.

I don’t know how it is possible to elevate a humble pea soup to the level they managed but it was absolutely heavenly. All the food was spectacularly good. Very nice service, and we were able to take our dog in and eat in the bar. This is a treasure of a local facility and we will be back very soon.
