The Lamb & Flag Inn

Staff are very welcoming. Actually, they create a warm atmosphere. We had a small snack - egg, ham, chips and salad - and a main (fish & chips). Everything arrived piping hot and at the same time.The snack was rather straightforward but it tasted very good. A lot of good ham and very nice chips.At the Lamb & Flag they definitely know how to make very good fish & chips. The batter, the oil and the fish was perfect. The fish is light and flaky (and a good size). You could tell that the temperature of the oil had been just right. The chips were chunky and crisp.A good experience! We are not far away so will be back.

What an amazing, friendly, lovely find!!!! We popped in after exploring the local beautiful area of the Fens and its history ~ the locals of this ‘community pub’ were funny, entertaining and engaging!!! Absolutely a hidden gem!! 10/10
