Service we great, the waitress was friendly. We ordered the curry, sausages and mash, side of veggies and cheesy garlic bread. The side of veggies was underwhelming. The mash tasted like it came out of a packet. The sausages were great. I highly recommend the curry and the cheesy garlic bread. I grabbed the 2 for 1 cocktail which was yummy too.
Lovely welcoming pub. Great atmosphere, great background music,great selection of drinks with glasses to match (it’s a thing of mine) lol…We have eaten here too & food was really good! Live music on a Sunday. Pleasant & accommodating staff. What’s not to love?!? Defo worth a visit if you are visiting Chester.

At the passing of an elderly loved one ,after traveling 160miles through floods n traffic jams stressed n sad ,this place was welcoming staff helpful n polite.sandwiches n filled rolls salad etc were tasty .The atmosphere was friendly .I'm glad I went. I returned home that night feeling better about the whole day, mainly because of the food n calmness in this establishment.The staff were very kind to me .A stranger.??✨✨?
