I visited on Saturday with a group of friends as part of a stag do. This place has a great atmosphere and makes for a splendid venue to watch the football. It's perfectly located in central Chester and the staff are brilliant. I have to give Sam a special mention. He was being badgered quite heavily by one of the more inebriated members of our party about the sports channel we wanted, but he was on hand at all times to make sure we had the right match on the right tv. Celebrating daughter in laws 60th. Had just eaten at Sergios and enjoyed the experiance. Wished to continue the celebration and hit onThe Old Dukes just around the corner that had a spare table for 8. A nice pub that is hidden away but also right next to the city walls and cathedral. £6.00 a pint seems a bit excessive even for a city centre pub. Worth a visit if you're in chester and want a pleasant ambience.
