My wife and I popped in without booking during a shopping expedition; we received a friendly welcome, as always, and shown to a table. The menu is reliably broad, and the chosen meals prepared to order, delivered to table by friendly and helpful staff - piping hot, and full of flavour. Excellent eating experience in every way, and thanks to Neringa for her prompt and attentive service to table

Las Iguanas - Cheshire Oaks

Everything was great. Especially Deryn she is great all the food came to the table on time. Poor girl have to manage 10 plus table by her self. Maybe management need to hire more staff.

We almost tried all the food on the bottomless tapas. And all was good.

Chimneys Hooton Wirral

Spent a lovely evening here last Friday with friends celebrating.
We ordered food ahead of our visit just because there were quite a few of us.
The food was excellent and so was the service from the team there, big thanks to them all.
Will definitely visit again.

Old Hall Farm

The carvery which was cooked by Thomas was the absolute best, I never go back for more but it was so nice I couldn’t resist a little bit more, he was very friendly and chatty as were all the other members of staff. Well done Thomas top marks!!!

Vanessa and Courtney brilliant service made us feel so welcome, always up for a laugh, really fast service and all around great staff in a great pub. Definitely recommend!!

Chiquito

This is a chain offering Mexican food but as we're in the UK you'll be experiencing the less spicy end of the spectrum here. If you're looking for authentic, this isn't it. If you're looking for a comfortable chain offering deals, particularly on cocktails, then you'll be happy here. This particular branch is always busy but you'll rarely need to book a table due to its size. The service is usually good and the portions are reasonable for the price. It can get a little loud due to the open plan seating with no dividers. There's plenty of free parking nearby.

Green Oak Farm - Dining & Carvery

We visit regularly. Staff are always lovely, especially Mary who is always so kind and considerate of us as customers. Food is delicious and always hot, the chefs serving are always friendly and recognise regular customers. Today we witnessed how lovely staff are even when dealing with rude and obnoxious customers. They all deserve a raise.

Old Wirral Hundred

We held our son's surprise 21st Birthday Party here and we had a great time. The buffet was lovely, the staff were all helpful, friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. It was a great success and the back room is perfect for parties and all of our family and friends complimented the buffet choices. The food was fresh and tasty.

Wagamamas has introduced us to some lovely styles of food and is full of flavor! We love the staggered approach where each dish comes out as and when it's made. We were sat right by the kitchen and the smell and atmosphere was brilliant

Amazing service. After some confusion with pad thai, our waiter educated us on the differences and eloquence of Vietnamese cuisine!Amazing variety of food choices and would come back over and over.Prices were also studendously low for the quality of the food there.

We took a chance dropping in on mother's day without booking and were lucky to get a nice table. It was incredibly busy and the staff were working like crazy. The food and drinks were brought to the table by a very lovely lady and it was very hot and fresh despite how busy they were. We really appreciated our visit and we will be back soon. The Cheshire Yeoman

We often come here for a drink, simply because its the closest pub to where we live. We went in on a Saturday afternoon with intention of having a drink and some food, we went to the bar and bought two pints, one was quite frothy, so my partner politely asked for a little top up. The lady serving turned to a regular and said 'This is why I hate working here'. We wanted some food, the menu states sandwiches available til 5pm, we went to the bar to order at 16.30 and were told the kitchen is closed until 5pm. The menu needs updating with correct serving times. The opening times are often irregular, it isn't reliable, we sometimes go of an afternoon and it isn't open or isn't serving food. I understand working in customer service is sometimes challenging and I do love supporting smaller businesses, but the attitude of the staff is paramount and to blatantly state in front of a customer that they're the reason you hate your job, is absolutely awful customer service.

Always great food here! The kebabs are fresh, full of flavour and the portions are generous. Staff are friendly and quick, even when it’s busy. Definitely my go-to place when I’m craving a proper kebab.

Really tasty food .. pickles were really zingy! Loved the decor inside. Awkward ordering online as WiFi not great at the outlet .. ordering face to face not offered .. had to request.

We seem to have tried everywhere lately for a decent curry and felt let down every time, tonight we found the best. Nothing pretentious just a great curry. Goa Tandoori is simply the best - by far!

Light of India

The oldest curry house in the town and still, for me, the best. This place would be packed years ago, but as local drinking spots have now disappeared, this place is never full, their main trade is now takeaways. The food is second to none and Manik and his staff always make you feel welcome.

Parking: Parking is free after 6pm in the car park at the bottom of Westminster Bridge, then it's literally a walk across the road to the restaurant.

Nando's Cheshire Oaks

Went as a couple on New Year’s Day. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a table to become available but it was worth the wait. We had a sharing meal which consisted of a whole chicken with 4 side dishes and unlimited soft drink refills. Food was cooked lovely & all dishes were hot.
Would go back again.

Called in for a takeaway coffee on our way out of Sainsbury’s, the afternoon of 10th April, who ever was on shift I was taken aback by the lady member of staff serving behind the bar, she was one of the most loveliest pleasant member of Starbucks staff, really made our day … Thank you xx

Love our local Yo! restaurant, it's a but pricey but we always enjoy it, especially the kids!
Staff here are great, really nice people and more than helpful.

Parking: Loads of parking nearby in the multistorey.

Pizza Hut

All you can eat pizza. What's not to love. Sauce options limited and wait a while for new pizza to be stocked but not worth lowering rating as very happy with it.

The White Swan

First visit and we just popped in on a bike ride. We had a lovely warm welcome from Emma (bar). She recommend the salt and pepper chicken, it was fresh and very tasty. We sat in the bar garden and enjoyed the sun with G&T. The pub was a great find and we would recommend a visit. We will be back very soon. 5* from us.

Went in with a work colleague and it's just a great little café - lovely service. Each time we go in the girls behind the counter always make time and seem interested in how your day is going, it's just nice. The food is okay too, exactly what you expect at a reasonable price, whenever I'm working in Ellesmere Port it's my place of choice for breaky

The Halfway House

Didn't have food. Just popped in for a couple of drinks before a party. Was a nice, friendly atmosphere, and I'm told the beer garden is beautiful, but I'm yet to see it as it was raining and cold when we went!

We hadn’t visited the wonderful Holdi in a while, and it was such a treat to be back. The food, service, staff, and atmosphere were all outstanding. It’s easy to see why the place is always so busy. An absolutely fabulous meal – thank you, and please don’t change a thing??

Purple Olive - Ellesmere Port

The lamb tikka sizzler tasted great, really nice pieces of lamb. The vegetable curry sauce that came with the main dish was delicious. All enjoyed with a nice Cobra lager too. A satisfying meal all round.

My Favourite Pub, I Just Love the way you can just be yourself in there, it's welcoming and relaxing and tonight there was a great band on in there as well, everything and more you could possibly want and another big tick the Sport on the televisions, Lovely place to relax and unwind after working all day, fantastic, not sure if they serve food but they do do cocktails at a cocktail bar area, Superb x??

Very good service! Been eating from paradise for almost 4 years now and have never had an issue. The portions are very good for the price. They also have good relationship with my little kids and offer them lollipops and jokes around with them! I definitely recommend eating here, you won’t be disappointed!

We like to come here when visiting to get our fix. Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait for your order, but there is usually plenty of seating, although it can get busy at times. \n\nThe drinks are usually hot enough. Often I will buy a little packet of 2 biscuits, but realise these cost £1.05 per biscuit! Rip off, so probably best to leave them!

Two Dragons

We rang at 5.15pm and after being told pick up in 30mins, we turned up to pick up. Still had over 30 minutes to wait in the shop for the banquet 4 people.
The food was plentiful and all the dishes were very well flavoured, we all ate well. Hence the 5 star rating for food.
In Future, be prepared for a long wait on early Saturday evening or choose the alternative China Palace.

So if you want a decent meal, this is the place to go.To.you must try their fish. Dinner.omg, it was perfect. The fish was proper cod great size to.the gravy was really nice, and they put plenty on, so its not dry... sweet and sour was nice to good portions,delicious is the word you must try .very friendly staff..this food is cooked in front of you .so you know it's fresh. A great little chippy that does some lovely Chinese and Thia food. I would have given it 5 stars, but its a cash only shop, and I watched them lose customers for this reason as I waited for my order!

Shere Khan Takeaway

The food came piping hot as always beautiful food on time , I would say this is the best Indian in Ellesmere Port the king prawn masala is beautiful so is the Bombay aloo and the yoghurt sauces are nice too the curries aren’t watery and bland like a lot of places too many
