Cracking village pub! Been drinking here for a long time, the current landlord is brilliant, good selection of ales on pull, and a recently added gin bar which is brilliantly stocked
Village pub that dates back forever it does what it says on the tin! Serves beer what more would you want from a little village pub but it does help to be a local.The landlord is a real character who'll happily trade banter.Both lounge and bar area consist of bench seating with tables and chairs running along side.Small seating area to the front and covered smoking area to the rear.No food menu but I think sandwiches are available and of course the usual bar snacks.

There’s not many pubs left like the Nags Head, the locals don’t bite, good beer and reasonable prices. And if you’re really lucky you’ll get the chance to have the best chilli or chicken curry I’ve ever tasted for £4.50 eat in or they will even dish it into a reusable container to take away, so you can focus on the drinking. Give it a go it’s like pubs used to be and if you’ve got a 4 legged friend there’s free biscuits on the bar.
