Not sure what happened during the visits of previous recent reviewers, but ours was very enjoyable. For reference, we went on a Friday lunchtime.Menu was limited but that's often a good sign, especially for a restaurant which has recently undergone a rebranding.We ordered the beef pie, the chicken salad and the ploughman's. I really wanted to enjoy this place after an excellent trip to the jail. Menu was confusing not clear about cream teas. Orders confused. Food cold although was corrected by the manager. Coke was flat. I think so much potential but needs to be slicker and staff more proactive. Not a cheap place. Can reccomend the scone which did taste good but that's it tbh
