Went on recommendation of our air bnb host as were staying locally, and did not disappoint. Everyone SUPER friendly, food homemade and all really lovely (and big portions) husband rated the beer, dog rated the attention. Interesting place with lots of character, will 100% return if we are in the Launceston area again.
Lovely atmosphere, attentive, polite staff and brilliant food….great value with good portions of food. Service was ‘ with a big smile. Look forward to returning….a ‘must’ when visiting the area.

Visited the Eliot Arms for a Friday lunch with friends and our small dog. Fantastic welcome from the staff in this lovely old pub. Al our meals were generous and cooked to perfection, the fish pie was to die for and the fish and chips were delicious. Venison burger with Blue Cheese, sooo tasty! I can’t recommend this pub enough. Thank you for a fabulous meal for our catch up, we were all very impressed!
