Stayed here in my Motorhome, only a few minutes from the A30 with easy access, the views are stunning, the free house pub has a great atmosphere, is very welcoming and friendly with a well stocked cellar. The food is excellent, prepared and served by staff who understand the clients expectations.
Pub with an amazing view! Shame the weather wasn’t quite up to sitting outside to eat as the view was stunning. We arrived without a booking just 10 minutes before the kitchen was closing on a Sunday. After a quick check, the kitchen were happy to accommodate us as long as we ordered quickly. This is a lovely country in with great views and a fantastic garden. The staff are friendly and welcoming and there is plenty of parking. The food ranges from snacks like curried chips to good sandwiches and burgers etc to fish and chips etc. The food is well priced for the area. Good range of beers and ciders available too.
