Nice little pub. A warm welcome and the food was superb. Only suggestion would be to train your staff in attention to detail. Things like not replacing cutlery/napkins, taking the water away but not offering a refill. Service was not bad at all but could just do with refining a little to take it from acceptable to amazing. Lovely gastro pub and a top Sunday menu. I had the starter (black pudding scotch egg) and roast pork, my partner had roast beef and sticky toffee pudding. We both had an excellent pint or two of Jail Ale. The service and ambience were great the only slight disappointment was the quality of the cutlery which felt rather canteen like for such a quality place.

Visited for Saturday evening meal. A really good range of options on the menu. Reasonably priced. Friendly service throughout the visit. Very busy but food arrived in good time. Fabulous range of cocktails- sadly I was driving so didn’t get to sample them but my party said they were lovely (and very strong!).
