1 Middle St, Port IsaacMr outlaw as dune an amazing job in developing his menue staff all great and very helpful . Was surprised how small his place is and how he would fit in the kitchen. Going to try his other place end September hope can say hello to him and get book as we got his book and photo 10 years ago at Rock.

Fresh From The Sea
18 New Rd, Port IsaacThis is a tiny cafe/ restaurant on the top of Port Isaac village. The catch of lobster crab and sole is caught by the owner himself. As a result it's dependant on the weather as to what is on offer. The food is fantastic with delicious home made cakes for dessert. The staff are really friendly and service is great. Well worth a visit.

Nicky B's Pasty Shop
22 Fore St, Port IsaacI went in to ask if they sold gluten free pasties and the answer was yes AND they are made fresh for them! I bought five pasties, four were frozen to take home to other family members who can't have gluten! Thankyou so much!! Also Nicky (I presume!) was so helpful and kind over the phone.

Chapel Cafe
Roscarrock Hill, Port IsaacLovely! We stopped in for lunch and got a salmon baguette, cappuccino and pot of tea. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and the bread was phenomenal. The drinks were also great! Service was really nice and the location quirky and interesting. 10/10 we would absolutely return!

Pilchards at Port Gaverne
Pilchards, PL29 3SQ, Port Gaverne, Port IsaacOur food was good, although definitely on the pricier side. We ordered the chorizo bites, monkfish, cauliflower, new potatoes, and tender stem broccoli, which was definitely enough for two people. The broccoli was both of our favorites; the rest of the food was good but nothing special, being honest. In particular, we did not love the cauliflower - the vegetable was good quality and well cooked, but there was an extremely bitter black garlic puree served all over it which was overwhelming. In small amounts I would not have minded, but it was everywhere on the plate and difficult to scrape off. It is a shame because I usually love cauliflower…

Buttermilk Shop - Port Isaac
4 Church Hill, Port IsaacMum wanted to see where doc martin was filmed and the pharmacy. We went in to get some fudge and magnet and the owner explained how they changed his shop around. Looks bigger on tv than in real life lol

Port Gaverne Restaurant & Hotel
Port Gaverne, Port IsaacCosy and atmospheric, staff looked after us well. Food was mostly very good, my shell food main of mussels and crab was over cooked and therefore did not have much flavour, could have done with a second piece of focaccia with it as the single slice was not enough and was the only carb. My partner said the mushroom pie was tasty.
