Best fish and chips you can get. A highlight of our holidays to GH with Haven fish and chips on the beach or harbour. We recommend to any of our friends or family who go to GH, perfect batter and fish and such a lovely family who run the place.
We come here each year whilst on holiday and each time we are delighted with our visit. The only thing we were disappointed with today was to learn that The Haven came 2nd in a recent poll of chippies in Cornwall - should have been first!!The best food we have ever had in a chippy, freshly cooked and not greasy; the service was relaxed, exceptional, welcoming and friendly; the restaurant was immaculately clean throughout. Highly recommend. Ordered take away when we stayed for the weekend at the Llawndroc Hotel. Very good quality fish, lovely chips and amazing chunky onion rings. The homemade tartar sauce was delicious. The place was incredibly clean and the staff very friendly - we will be back ?
