Service was great, but that was it. Food was below average - wet burger buns, missing items from plate, cold chips. Atmosphere and clientel here was very poor. There were people very clearly very intoxicated at midday on a Thursday, very loud and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. It was obvious to the staff but they did not say anything. I know this is a Wetherspoons and I know "you get what you pay for" but this was genuinely a terrible experience.
Good pub. Big plus was staff doing age checks. Good to see. Food was not the best but acceptable. Staff were friendly and overall a good experience. Would use again if in the area.Wheelchair accessibility: Not obviously available but may be possible via back doors.

One of the best wetherspoons I've visited. Friendly staff perfect customer service warm and cosy atmosphere even has a log fire place. Food is excellent well presented cooked well. Will definitely visit again.
