Go there whenever my wife and I get the chance, mainly for the Sunday roasts which are excellent. We were there on Christmas Day and they excelled themselves once again. Food was delicious, the poached pear dessert was wonderful. As usual the friendly atmosphere and humorous staff were evident. Couldn't eat everything, the dishes being so plentiful, but the staff boxed up the rest for us to take home. Absolutely love this place...
Small pub atmosphere. Clean and bright. Dog friendly. Service excellent. Food choice and presentation unexpectedly good. Lunch time opening always our preference. Thoroughly pleasant experience. Thank

I had lunch here 23rd December 2023. Service was top notch. I had the fish pie and bread pudding. Both were exceptionally tasty. On arrival the pub had a warm atmosphere, even with just a few tables seated at that time . Nicely spaced out, so as tables filled, it didn't feel cramped.I would highly recommend the Red Lion in all aspects.
