Have been a regular visitor to Wainrights inn for about 12 years. We visit the valley for about 10+ weeks every year. The staff have always been very good and we have never had any cause for complaint. I was quite suprised to see some of the complaints on trip advisor about the staff. One of the pleasures of our visits is how welcoming the staff have always been,not just to ourselves but to many other people when we have been in Wainrights. Had the best fish and chips I have ever had 2 days running so wasn't a fluke. The chips were to die for crispy on the outside and fluffy onthe inside, even stayed crispy when I put vinegar on. Fish was large and batter to perfection. Couldn't fault it.
