I come here once a week for a chai tea latte (which is yummy) to wind down after a therapy session (primarily as it's the only coffee shop open nearby at 7pm). Each time I am disappointed by the mess of the place (agree with previous reviews of tables not being cleared, toilets not clean or working fully, mud on the chairs from feet or paes, litter on the floor). We had a quick stop here to grab an Iced Latte and Mocha before heading for a walk at Bassenthwaite Lake and found the service to be great. Don't understand all the negative reviews but I suppose we don't frequent enough to notice these things - didn't notice dirty tables or the building being cold during our visit.

Seemed Ok. Was towing caravan. Car parking too awkward for total outfit length. Not enough room atcadjacent filling station either.....some you win.... I failed to allow for the congestion at what I thought may be a quiet time. Got it wrong.
