Had a few days in Cockermouth between Christmas and New Year. We stayed at the Tithe Barn Inn Hotel who provide a breakfast service via the Veeva Cafe just a few metres down the road. We weren’t expecting much but were wonderfully surprised by everything at Veeva, the welcome, the surroundings, and most importantly the quality of the food and drinks. All topped off with fantastic energy and customer service. 5 Stars all day long! ?

We came to VeeVa on Saturday the 18th November. The cafe was recommended to us by a local resident. It’s always a good sign when you have to wait for a table even at breakfast time. We quickly got seated at a table after a small wait. We decided to have a full breakfast & myself a gluten free Hash brown & bacon sandwich. Both arrived freshly prepared & delicious. Came here for breakfast with my two boys. Food was really delicious and the boys loved their food. One had pancakes and warm Nutella and myself and other son had English breakfasts...perfect portion sizes. Brilliant, friendly staff. Each section cleaned and hoovered before next customers were sat. Will definitely return when I'm back in the lakes! Thank you for a great breakfast ?
