Such a brilliant pub! Staff are so friendly, knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough for you! Always very clean and prices are great! Also dog friendly ? best pub in Cockermouth by far!!
We have never been to this pub before and we were made really welcome and given great bar service. Had a lovely couple of hours sat on a barstool watching darts....only called in for one!! But felt so chilled and comfortable, stayed for 4!

Loved this little bar and the girls behind the bar worked so very hard every minute we were there! Locals very friendly and enjoyed a nice chat with them. Disabled toilets could have done with a good clean but that was the only thing that wasn't positive ?
