“Oscars did not disappoint. Beautiful setting in quintessential Cartmel. We booked for our son’s 17th birthday. David the owner greeted us with a smile and hoped the birthday napkins were correct (mentioned online when we booked ?). Sat upstairs, lovely atmosphere and quirky decor. Made to feel very welcome.

Very good Unsworth ale?

Small plate menu, delicious, had two plates each so six in total. Followed by homemade Bischoff cheesecake and the best chocolate brownie in the world (both with cream and ice cream). Shout out to Kelly the chef, David her husband who made us very welcome and their daughter Lydia who served us. Our 17 year old loved it!!
