Came here on Christmas Eve for a lovely meal. We were welcomed and looked after very well. The beer was excellent and we tried the Shanky's Whip in a coffee which was gorgeous. I've bought a bottle for myself now! The Christmas meal was so delicious. Luckily our starters weren't available so we didn't have one having been advised the dinner was so big we didn't need one. Beautiful pub in a wonderful area. Food was absolutely delicious, the steak was huge and was cooked to perfection. The couple running the place were so warm and welcoming, really lovely. I will definitely be coming

We had a lovely time at the Royal Oak. The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home. The roast was very tasty and a very generous portion! They were also able to accommodate a nut allergy. Highly recommend- we’d come here again.Dietary restrictions: Accommodated nut allergy.Parking: Very convenient parking.
