Just amazing place, the outside looks interesting but the inside leads to fine wines, great food and a warm welcome.Step upstairs to the restaurant and be ready to have food prepared by a great chef, and served by a very good chap who certainly knows his stuff!Amazing and well worth a visit!!
Perfect ambience on an autumn evening with a fireplace and lovely mood lighting. An excellent range of wines per glass. We particularly enjoyed the option to have tasting measures of a large selection of wines all at very reasonable prices. We also purchased a bottle to take home with us. A must visit in Cartmel!

Had a fantastic meal here last night, David was very knowledgeable about all the dishes. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the area. The menu changes slightly as Oscars like to ensure the ingredients are locally sourced. Thanks for a great evening.
