Tiniest portion I've ever experienced from any chip shop ever. Ordered 3× chip butties and the chips didn't even cover the bun on any of them. They tasted OK, but there simply wasn't enough. There were long queues at the chippy in the centre, but presumably because people know you get a proper portion there. We won't be coming back to this one.
Every single chip was brown and bruised, portion size was enough to feed a small child and a there must be a salt & vinegar shortage in this part of the world as a teeny, tiny, weeny, smidge of salt & the smallest drip of vinegar was sprinkled on top of the 10 chips that were on offer. Absolute pants to be honest. I contemplated not eating the thing at all but then I remembered that I'm greedy & was starving, so down the hatch it went. It was still pants though. 3/10.

Came here at Easter and week following August Bank Holiday. Was a bit of a wait at Easter but no such issues most recent visit. Both visits the fish has been great. Proper white meaty fish both times. Curry sauce decent too. Would definitely recommend.
