Dirty & messy! Staff are useless walking past tables that need to be cleared like zombies Once we sat down I asked a member of staff to remove the previous customers food/drinks from the table, which he done so reluctantly. When asked for him to clean the tabletop he was annoyed & said “do I look like an octopus” angrily then stormed off to get the cleaning spray. Once returned with spray & cloth in hand, they whipped the surface, but didn’t even spray the worktop just spreading...read full review

Super busy all year round. You will struggle for tables at 'after hike' peak times, do not rely on it, but great if you can table, standard spoons prices, service and atmosphere.

We were on a 3 week road trip around the north of England and visited many Wetherspoons pubs … this was the worst by far. It was grubby and the staff were lazy and rude. Beer was ok. Food wasn’t ok …had exactly the same curry in another Wetherspoons and it was lovely. The building is interesting and the pub could be really special but it definitely wasn’t! Very disappointed ☹️
