Wow. Friendly and welcoming. Lovely seating area. Food was good value and enjoyable. I had the steak pudding. So yummy. Friends had equally lovely meals from scampi to burger and cheese and onion pie. We noticed as we were leaving the village that my banking ap showed we’d been charged £5.50 rather than £55. We made a hasty return. The couple were so lovely that we’d come back to pay the full amount. They certainly deserved full payment !
Amazing Sunday lunch and great value. The best we have had for a long time. 2 Sunday roasts, everything was cooked too perfection, thick slices of beef and turkey with plenty of it, extra cauliflower cheese and a bottle of lovely Malbec all for around £50. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Popped in For drinks one night and looked at the menu… right up our street so we booked for a Friday night. We both had starters and both had the cheese pie which was delicious! Staff were friendly enough and the place was clean. Would recommend a meal here, we will return for sure.
