The place hasn't changed since we started coming years ago, definitely no frills, but the food is pretty consistent. This was our first takeaway experience and we probably would do it again. We ordered a tandoori mixed grill, saag bhaji side, chips and naan to share. The tandoori mixed grill was really good and cooked just right. After seeing some of the reviews we were a little skeptical about dining here but I’m so glad we did! Staff all very friendly and the food was amazing, so much so we returned the following weekend!

A very enjoyable first experience at Spice Essence. Immaculately clean with top class service and good atmosphere. The curries we ordered were well prepared and so very tasty. Special mention for the Peshawar naan bread we ordered, so light, sweet and moorish. Thank you Spice Essence for a delightful evening, thoroughly recommend and we will definitely be back.
