Popped in for a cup of tea and cake on the way back from the Lake District,. Lovely little place that allowed dogs, so perfect for us. Tea and cake were suitably lovely and the service was spot on. Nice wines to buy too but ran out of time. Would like to come again and spend more time there.
I definitely recommend The Crossing Point for breakfast. Poached eggs on toast with bacon is simply excellent. Wonderful service. Darren and the team are friendly, fast and very accommodating. Dog friendly even if seating is a little tight when crowded. The small, carefully curated wine shop has a great selection and shows real care and knowledge. Very unexpected bonus in a small cafe! We stopped by for a quick bite of lunch and it was one of the tastiest toasties I'd had! Service was so friendly and the atmosphere of the place is super welcoming and warm. Fabulous selection of wines too!
